Have enjoyed Nippers many times over the past few years- even took my wedding party there by ferry Feb. 99. Have to admit... it's getting to be a bit much. Was there this past Feb. and swore I'd never go back. Truth is, I probably WILL go back but, it certainly won't be a "must" on my list of things to do, especially on Sundays. Everything was great, I thought, until they opened the pool. Since then it's like a mild porn movie. Definately not a place for chilldren.
I'm only 33, have no children, like to have a cocktail or two or three, and have even danced on the bar at Nippers ( at night, with friends, with our clothes on). Point being... HAVE FUN, GET CRAZY BUT, HAVE SOME CLASS!!!! Our nickname for Nippers is the "REDNECK" bar of the Abacos.
Can't believe I'm posting this... I HAVE BECOME MY MOTHER!!! Truth is, I miss the "old" Nippers that was fun and SLIGHTLY crazy. I can do without the trashy stuff. I'm afraid that if things don't mellow out I'll be partying elsewhere.
Hope it doesn't come to that. Johnny and Pat are sooo nice and the lobster salad is the best. Just don't want to feel like I'm on Spring Break everytime I'm there.
