queries prior to mid-october visit

anyone out there want to handle a few more first-timers questions???
(we're staying at a private rental home a short walk north of Hope Town)
(1) can you depend on the water out of the spigot as drinkable?
(2) do most restaurants and shops take MC/VISA?
(3) is it gonna rain every day in mid-october?
(4) is the water still warm enough to swim?
(5) does it get really chilly at night?
(6) is there a good fishing spot within a 1/2-hr boat ride?
