Don't Rock Passage

Will be traveling Abacos Oct 8-16 and would like some thoughts on using Don't Rock Passage as opposed to Whale Cay/Loggerhead. We will be on a Mainship 350 trawler drawing 3'9". Will pick up the boat at Boat Harbour and would like to head to Spanish Cay, then back down stopping at several locations. We were in the Abacos last Oct on the same boat and could not make it north due to sea rage, but did not know about Don't Rock Passage. I have the Cruising Guide to the Abacos by Dodge which talks about going north that way, but would like some first hand experience. Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Roy & Kim Holleman
