hunting and gathering methods

I'm not familiar with boating and walking distances in Marsh .. wife and I are renting boat from Seahorse at the resort, staying in house on Elbow, no ferry. When we first get in, we want to load up on groceries Should we have the taxi stop at the grocery store, or take us to Seahorse and then boat around the point into Marsh to get grub. How far from public dock to grocery?
