Ah, the eternal question--hotly debated on almost every flight over by my family. I am not familiar with the location of Seahorse in Maarsh,
however, since you said, around the point, I am assuming it is out at Boat marina, near ferry docks, in which case I would stop at Golden Harvest first.
The taxi drivers are most accommodating, and will sit and wait, or keep your luggage in taxi and show up in half an hour. If Seahorse is by Triple J or that area, we always send one to grocery and the other to the boat.
That is because we always are arriving in the afternoon and trying to get across before darkness.
Remember there are plenty of groceries available on Elbow, just not as wide a selection. so we buy basics and heavy stuff, like case of cokes or whatever. You still have to get from Golden Harvest down to public dock which is quite a short walk, BUT with heavy stuff . . .
Anyway, I would opt for taxi stop first and THEN go to boat and can do it all at one time, and if Seahorse is out there, then it is a straight shot across to Hopetown.
Where are you staying??
10 days and counting!!
