I think you have received some good advice here. We do the the same thing,
get a taxi at the airport and then load-up with as much stuff as possible
before heading over to Elbow Cay.

Just one further suggestion, in the event it should be raining when you arrive, the trip in your own boat can be
rather unpleasant with all those groceries plus your luggage (been there
- done that !) and you are not on too much of a budget, get the taxi to
take you to the ferry dock and charter a ferry directly to White Sound.
It will cost $50 (plus tip) for the trip in comfort. When you get to
Seascape, give the boat rental company a call on the VHF and ask them
to kindly deliver your boat to White Sound.

below.
