Hi David, Paul gave good advice. We just returned on Saturday from Elbow Cay/White Sound.

We tried bottom fishing & trolling but had no luck. My bait was stolen several times while fishing near the sunken crane close to the electrical island (I think that's what it's known as). We were using conch. We also fished a bit near Tahati Beach but unfortunately didn't catch anything or even see a fish.

The weather was horrible though. Very, very windy (20 knots) w/3' seas & that was inside. Outside they were 8'. That night we decided to go buy some fish at the Albury Market in Hope Town. He said he had NO fresh fish that day - TOO WINDY to go out! We already knew it was too windy because we were the dummies that were out.

The wind did create some very rough times. But we were warned by "Barometer Bob" on Cruisers Net that the seas would be unforgiving; he was right. I'll listen next time.

Good luck on your fishing. Hope your children enjoy it.
