All the info. from Jack is right on. I can only add: Jib Room Bar-b-q is fun
on Sun. nite. They have music & dancing - boat-types, visitors, & local
people all go. Try Mother Merle's or one of the other "Native Bahama"
food places. They will be most reasonable, and worth a try. Everything is
safe. No one will harrass you. Wally's is very nice, and upscale for Abaco. If you're going to "dress", Wally's is the place. (not necessary, tho. We've gone in shorts) About the same price as Wally's, also nice, and a bit upscale, is Mangoes. Dinners run about 20.oo & up plus drinks at both places. "Upscale" means you will see men in "long" pants & women in dresses. But you will also see very casual boaters, so feely relaxed. Abaco is great!
