Well spoken. We are traveling there in March/April of '99, and my first concern was boat rental. We have had two boats in the last ten years, and this spring will graduate to our third (they keep getting bigger). As you stated, if you are not experienced, it would be wiser to stay close to Marsh Harbor so getting supplies would not be a 10 hour trip! We are staying on Elbow Cay, too, just for the exact reason. Even with our knowledge of boating, the sea is different than the lakes of Michigan, so until we know WHERE we're going and can navigate with our eyes closed, we'll "stick close to home" too!

Any ideas on where to get gas? And I understand you're allowed to take a cooler of food, as long as it's for your own consumption. (We cook alot ourselves) How can you transport frozen/cold food, seal it, and in what?

Thanks!
