John, I can pack more than $50,00 worth of food in my cooler. We like to either catch or buy fresh seafood, so we don't bring a full weeks supply. You are right $50.00 of food is equal to $150.00 in the Bahamas. We pack spices, snacks, and dry goods with our luggage. I don't waste space in the cooler for anything but perishables. We give the cooler away and leave it, & bring back Liquor. I feel we save both going and coming.
