I'm taking the liberty of jumping in, hope I'm not to late.

We have been going to MH every other year since 86. We always take a majority of our food. If all of your meat and frozen goods are packed in a disposable cooler and carried on you don't need dry ice or any ice. It will stay well frozen for up to 24 hours at this time of year, we go in December. As to nonperishables, we take can goods and boxed mixes in our suit cases. We cut back on clothes and take laundry soap. It is cheaper to do a load of laundry than to buy food. Your going to be swimming and boating so alot of your time is going to be in a swim suit anyway. Save your money for the fresh foods and Bread "Yummy". Have a great time.
