GODFREY ALEXANDER FOX
Funeral services for Godfrey Alexander Fox, 34, were held on 29th March at Sandy Point Assemblies of God. Officiating was Rev Erskine Wells. Interment followed in the Sandy Point Public Cemetery.
He is survived by two children, Santana and Shaquille; his loving parents, Ezra and Frances; one grandmother, Myrtle Bootle; three brothers, Troy Cornish, Ezra (Tennace) and Otis Fox: six sisters, Maria Rose, Carla Nixon, Theresa Albury, Ingrid Lowe, Tracey Moxey and Torren Fox; eleven nephews; five nieces; eleven uncles; eleven aunts; and a host of other relatives and friends.
EVELYN EDITH ROBERTS
Funeral services for Evelyn Edith Roberts, 89, were held at Green Turtle Cemetery on 3rd March. Officiating was Bro Gurth Roberts.
She is survived by her daughters, Anne Sawyer, Linda Schrum, Wade Cash and Bonnie Russell; sons-in-law, Roswell Sawyer, Calvin Schrum, Wade Cash and Steve Russell; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
Evelyn Roberts was born in London, England, to Clara and Walter Kendrick. She moved to The Bahamas at the tender age of four months. She lived in Green Turtle Cay all of her life, until the past year when she went to live at Sybil’s House in Marsh Harbour.
AMY MERLE KEMP
Funeral services for Amy Merle Kemp, 85, were held at the Assemblies of God Church, Hope Town, on 4th April. Officiating was Pastor Larry Russell, assisted by Vernon Malone. Interment was made in Hope Town Cemetery.
Amy Merle Kemp lived a full life of love and service to others. She was predeceased by her son, Pat Malone, and her daughter, Nellie Goff. She is survived by her daughter, Anthea Russell; grandchildren, Betty Roberts, Jack Russell, Vickie Sweeting and Pamela Nutt; great-grandchildren, Stewart Roberts, Misty Russell, Clint Russell, Brandon Sweeting, Brittany Sweeting and Jesse Nutt; and a host of other relatives.
