The Tangelo Hotel and Restaurant is located on the Island of Little Abaco, now connected to the mainland of Abaco by a short causeway on the smoothly paved Great Abaco Highway. It is approximately a 45 minute drive north from the Treasure Cay Airport (TCB) which is served by Continental, US Air,
Island Express, Air Sunshine, Vintage Props and Jet and numerous air charter companies from Florida. Bahamas Air provides daily service from Nassau. The 180 mile hop from Florida puts the Tangelo within easy reach for the private pilot. At the airport the ramp area is paved and has cables provided for aircraft tie-downs, but bring your own ropes. Rental cars are available at the Treasure Cay airport, reservations are advised, Cornish Car Rentals (242) 365 8623.
Our air conditioned villa comfortably accommodates 6 and has a full kitchen, dining and living room and its own satellite colour TV. Just a few steps from the hotel and restaurant.
The Tangelo staff can arrange guides and boats for bonefishing on the practically unfished flats of Little Abaco. Boats and guides are also available for fishing, snorkeling, diving or excursions to the gorgeous outer reefs and cays across the Sea of Abaco.
